Found this somewhere... Food for thoughts...
Each person has their own view of the world. How they perceive it is different then how someone else would. Our eyes act a lot like a camera that films a movie or tv show. We are the directors of our own cameras and we control what we see and don’t want to see. However, much like a film we are limited by the view provided by the camera. We can’t see what else is going on in the background because that’s a whole other story on its own much like our lives. We know our own stories and how a situation that we were involved in could have a significant impact on them. We have characters coming in out of our stories. Some we know a lot about and others still remain a mystery. However, since we are limited with our view we can not see the entire picture involving a few characters. We can’t look beyond of our immediate view. So, we have to assume what is taking place beyond our line of sight. Sometimes what we assume may be true or completely off. Either way they will have an impact on how you perceive the information and how it alters your story. Your plot. What I have learned is to value each character as they come in to my story. They may bring other characters with them who make them who they are. You have to respect that and not let it effect the relations that you have with the character. How we interact with each person is different because each person plays a different role in our lives. To compare yourself to another person and how they interact with a person you both know is useful but at times it can make your mind wonder into some dark places. We assume what is going on with that person as we compare ourselves to them. If only we knew the whole picture, the whole story we wouldn’t be consumed with our thoughts that could be misleading. You aren’t aware of that person that you are comparing yourself too. They can know your existence and know your role in the life of the person you both share. However, you aren’t aware of the fact they value your existence because of the impact on the life you both are about of. The individual you both share. So before you draw to conclusions of what may be going on remember that your eyes can only picture what you can see. Your camera can’t film what is going on beyond your line of sight and what’s beyond your sight can be different then what you are imagining. So please don’t be fooled by the camera tricks that you are experiencing.
